Creating Free Online Photo Albums
There are many web sites that offer free online photo storage options. These web sites understand that storing your photos online is a great way to keep track of them. Most web sites that offer free online photo storage allow you to place your photos into an online photo album if you wish.
Creating online photo albums classifies your photos into categories that you designate and then allows you to accessorize those categories or albums for beautifully unique presentations of your decorating style. Online photo albums are a great way to share your photos with others without incurring any cost other than the time it takes you to set up the photo album and then to invite others to view it.
When you are ready to create digital photo albums, the process is relatively simple for most sites. First you need to upload your photos to the web site. It doesn’t matter what order you upload them in as you can rearrange them once they are on the web site. For most sites, it also doesn’t matter what equipment or media source they come from. This means that you can upload those photos from the digital camera, a flash drive, a memory stick or even from other web sites, so long as you upload them all to the web site where you are planning to create your photo albums. Usually the web site will subsequently help you, through the use of its wizard or online help program, to get all of your photos into the same file type such as .jpg.
Once you have your photos uploaded, some web sites have auto fillers for their photo albums. This means that you can select the group of photos you want to compile into a photo album and then simply click on the auto filler option and the web site’s program will file the pictures to the photo album for you.
A thoughtful part of creating digital photo albums includes how you organize your photo albums such as for their naming conventions and what photos you will store in which photo albums. Make sure that your photo album names give you an idea of what photos are stored inside the album. That way you don’t have to go searching in every photo album for one particular photo or group of photos.
Consider having a “Miscellaneous” photo album for photos that are not categorized into any other photo album. This will give you one centralized location even for the photos that don’t need an entire album of their own. Try using naming conventions for photos in the Miscellaneous folder that have a date in the name so that you can be reminded at a glance when the photo was taken and hopefully also be reminded of what took place on that date so you don’t have to open the photo to view it. Your albums should be fun to locate and use.

| Review by SanjeevP (MICHIGAN, USA) 2010-07-27 As of July 2010, Canon S90 and Canon SD4000 are two of the best pocketable point and shoot cameras. Tough choice. Having used both, here is my take on these two excellent cameras: ADVANTAGES OF S90 Over SD4000 1. Better picture quality. 2. Lots of manual controls. | ||

| Review by mbaldwin (USA) 2010-07-28 The Canon D10 malfunctioned once with the error message of "Lens Error". We read some reviews online that had the same problem. Some of the reviewers returned the product while others just waited for the error to disappear. Since this is not our only camera, we just waited till the next day. We remo... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Laura (ATLANTA, GA USA) 2010-07-28 I had the previous version, the Canon Powershot G9, and LOVED IT. It finally stopped working so I immediately ordered the most updated version, the G11. This camera was HORRIBLE. The color is completely washed out in every picture I took on my recent trip to Alaska, and is a huge disappointment. ... Read more reviews | ||
